Defender of the Realm

A portrait of a dragon-based neopet, the Draik.

I tried to include some elements of medieval portraiture in this one, like the Draik being in profile. It was almost like a heraldic pose, and I tried to emphasize it by putting a heraldic dragon on his shield. I also had a lot of fun with the light sources and textures in this one, and trying to make the wing seem semi-transparant.
